This Privacy Policy explains how JustTheHelper (“we”, “our”) collects and uses information.

1. What We Collect

Only what is required to run the bot:

• Discord server (guild) ID and name
• Channel and thread IDs used for welcome or tickets
• Role IDs configured for verify or staff
• Your Discord user ID (for reminders, tickets, and admin actions)
• Reminder text and due times you schedule
• Ticket metadata (opener, claim status, thread ID)

We do not collect:

• General server chat logs
• Messages outside ticket threads or bot interactions
• Payment card details (billing is handled by Discord)
• IP addresses

2. What We Do Not Store Long-Term

We do not build a profile of your community or sell data. Operational logs, if any, are limited and purged on a reasonable schedule.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To post welcome flows, grant verify roles, and send optional welcome DMs
• To deliver personal reminders via DM
• To create and manage private-thread support tickets
• To operate billing checks via Discord’s entitlements API
• To improve reliability and fix errors

We never sell your data.

4. Third-Party Services

• Discord — hosting, API, and subscription billing
• Fly.io — application hosting (production)

Each provider has its own privacy policy.

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

6. Children

You must be 13+ to use Discord and this bot.

7. Your Rights

• Request deletion of stored configuration and reminder data
• Remove the bot from your server at any time

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use means acceptance.
