JustTheTip uses Magic's embedded wallet technology for seamless, non-custodial wallet creation. Your wallet is created instantly via Discord authentication, and you approve every transaction in your own wallet using Solana Pay. Unlike traditional bots that hold your funds, we never have access to your private keys - they're secured by Magic's industry-standard MPC (multi-party computation) infrastructure.

Use the /register-magic command in Discord, authenticate with your email, and your Solana wallet is created instantly. Magic handles the wallet infrastructure using secure, non-custodial technology - you don't need to install any wallet apps or manage seed phrases. The bot never sees or stores your private keys.

Currently, JustTheTip supports SOL tipping on Solana mainnet. Multi-token support (USDC, BONK, USDT) is coming soon! Since all tokens share the same Solana address, your single registration will work for all future tokens—no additional setup needed.

Use /tip @username $amount in Discord. The bot generates a Solana Pay link that opens in your wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.). Review the transaction details and approve it in your wallet. You sign each transaction yourself - the bot never signs on your behalf or touches your funds.

We'll notify the recipient via DM that they have a pending tip. They have 7 days to register using /register-magic, then you can resend the tip. Your funds stay in your wallet the whole time - nothing is locked or escrowed.

JustTheTip only charges standard Solana network fees, which average around $0.0001 per transaction. There are no additional bot fees or hidden charges. What you tip is what the recipient gets (minus minimal network fees).

Yes! Magic wallets work on any device. For transactions, the Solana Pay links work with mobile wallets like Phantom and Solflare. Registration is done once via email on any device, and tipping works seamlessly on mobile and desktop Discord.

For basic usage, no! Magic creates your wallet instantly via email authentication. However, to approve tip transactions, you'll need a Solana wallet app like Phantom or Solflare to scan the Solana Pay QR codes or links. These wallets are free and take minutes to set up.
